A TRIP TO LONDON

INTRODUCTION
London is a beautiful European city. It’s the capital of England and the United Kingdom. It has a lot to show and that’s the reason why it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

- Would you like to know more about London?
- Would you like to visit it?

TASK

Imagine you are a travel agent. You and your team are going to write a touristic brochure to help tourists to visit London and everything it has to be seen.
Your brochure has to be the best and the most attractive so tourists can choose you to travel with them and to be their tour guide. It has to be colourful, have pictures and above all, it has to suggest the best monuments, attractions and places to go in London.

PROCESS

- You have to work in teams of 4 members.

- Your brochure must have:

Maps of London (easy to use);
The names and information about monuments;

The names and information about museums;

Suggestions of activities to do, touristic attractions and shops to go;

Suggestions of transports (for example the traditional taxis and red double-decker buses);

You have to suggest the best way to get to the places.

Don’t forget to add some pictures and photos !!!

Museu da Lourinhã e região adjacente

No dia 14 de Abril sob o olhar atento do S. Pedro entrámos no mundo da paleontologia, etnologia e arqueologia da Região Oeste. Aprendemos e consolidámos alguns conhecimentos ligados aos processos de fossilização de diversas idades geológicas.

Este Museu possui a maior colecção ibérica de fósseis de dinossauros do Jurássico Superior e uma das mais importantes a nível mundial.

Entre estes fósseis com 150 milhões de anos encontram-se vários vestígios de dinossauros carnívoros como o Lourinhanosaurus antunesi, dos gigantescos herbívoros como o Dinheirosaurus lourinhanensis ou dos vários ovos fósseis de dinossauro carnívoro contendo os mais antigos embriões de dinossauro de todo mundo e o segundo maior ninho conhecido, com mais de 100 ovos.

Este período as horas de actividade interna (4ª feira às 10h05) serão dedicadas às modalidades de Corfebol, Andebol e Futsal.
